E-mail Automation Task Not Sending Failure

Hello Manny,

Currently, Morpheus sends an email to the user who initiated the instance provisioning process (image below). I’m uncertain if you’ll be able to execute your custom email task given the provisioning failing.

I found two ideas other community members have posted that might be what you are looking for in the product. Make sure to vote for ideas you would like to see in future Morpheus versions

Ability to add additional content to auto-generated email for successful/failed instance deployment

Customize Email Content While we can add an additional email task to do this. Would prefer to include content (links, helpful docs, more details on instance) within the success/failed email that is generated when that provisioning result is complete instead of sending an additional email to the instance owner’s email.

Email Notifications on Errors

Headline: Allow an administrator group to receive notifications when there are workflow failures, job failures, instance provisioning failures, etc. Description: Currently there are minimal out of the box notifications when things go wrong inside of Morpheus. It would be nice to have built-in alerts for things that can go wrong on a day to day basis. For example, a workflow fails to execute, a scheduled job fails to run, or an instance fails to provision.
