E-mail Notification Configuration

Hi,

I’m wondering if the default notification that gets sent out to the owner of the instance or resource that was provisioned can be edited/enhanced and if so where is this e-mail stored in Morpheus, for some reason I can’t find it.

Also would another optino be to utilize e-mail notification task ?

Any insight on this would be appreciated.

Hi,

As far as I know, you cannot edit the standard email from Morpheus - therefore you find a request within the “Idea” section of this discuss forum - perhaps you would like to vote for it:

Ability to add additional content to auto-generated email for successful/failed instance deployment

Customize Email Content While we can add an additional email task to do this. Would prefer to include content (links, helpful docs, more details on instance) within the success/failed email that is generated when that provisioning result is complete instead of sending an additional email to the instance owner’s email.

In case you want to send out your own emails only, you need to create an email task for that and stop the standard email within the user settings by unchecking the “receive notifications”.

Perhaps the vote runs thru successfully with enough votes …
