When adding a new VMware vCenter Cloud, the only options within the ‘Cluster’ field is ‘All’ or individual clusters. I think it would be really beneficial to be able to group VMWare’s Resource (Clusters) together and then the ability to select that particular group when adding a new cloud.
We’re able to recreate this within our environment manually by selecting ‘All’ clusters for a given vCenter, disabling clusters we don’t want pulled into Morpheus and then editing group access to only allow group access to the subset of clusters we want to provide access to for provisioning workloads. Having the ability to do this from the initial cloud add would save us a lot of time and would allow us to skip over some of the custom Administrative Operational workflows we’ve created that will update group permissions at the Cluster/Resource level of a VMWare vCenter cloud.
Example:
vCenterA
Cluster1
Cluster2
Cluster3
Cluster4
Cluster5
Cluster/Resource Group consists:
Cluster1
Cluster2
Cluster3
Adding vCenterA as a new cloud and selecting Cluster/Resource Group as it’s ‘Cluster’ option.
