Convert Instances Discovered to Managed

Hi Team

I want to convert VMs (Discovered) coming AWS & Azure to managed VMs, in order to do that we have to select the instance type & layout. In this case, do we have to use the ones provided by Morpheus ? For now we do not have any custom instance types created however is it necessary create new instance types or morpheus provided ones can be used without any issues ?

For the username & password, I believe that any user with sudo access can be used & for Morpheus agent installation will require communication to appliance url over 443. Correct if anything is missing or wrong.

If you just leave it on select or don’t define the layout via the API call, it’ll default to the cloud technology instance type. I.E - AWS will be of type EC2 and Azure will be of type Azure.
