We are exposing automation workflows as Service catalogs to multiple teams as Self service.
e.g. Database Security patching to DBA teams
Recently we have notices the Catalog is not listing the instances in the “Resource” section for the users to select. This was working earlier but not any more.
Are there any restrictions introduced in the recent appliance versions in terms of roles to list this?
Please could you list Morpheus version (current and upgraded from).
We upgraded from 6.2.11 to 8.0.2

Have you been able to compare role group access for users that can see instances in the drop down, against role group access for those who cannot - what does that look like?
Thanks Ollie! That did the trick!
Group access has been set to ‘none’ for the role attached to the users who had issues in selecting the instances. I changed it to ‘Full’ and able to select the instances.
Just curious whether this change has been forced in the new appliance versions? Coz, this has been working for years and users reported this issue only after the upgrade to 8.0.2
Wouldn’t expect an upgrade to disable a specific group access permission. Could it be a multi-tenant role, locked, which has been changed elsewhere, with this side effect?
Main thing is it is working now.
Yes, it is a multi-tenant role but when it comes to roles we don’t change them frequently and pretty much it will be a one time setup. And yes, the good thing is its working now!
