Enhance Morpheus Approvals with a list of improvements provided below:

  1. An Approvals tab must be available in Service Catalog persona for Business user to select a request and approve/deny it with an approval comments. Morpheus approvals are embedded in Standard persona under Operations. Business users, doesn’t need a Standard persona access. They use Service Persona access to review the catalogs/services available in the portal.

  2. An approvals must be available for Catalogs based on Operational workflows and Instances.

  3. An approval page must be available for end users in Service Catalog persona with details on who the approvals are pending with email ID information, where an End user will have flexibility to follow-up.

  4. Approval requests must be sent in an email to remind the approver that there is a request pending for review.

  5. Approvals must be available based on Option inputs value provided by the user for more flexibility.

  6. Approval status must be visible to end users/approver in Service catalog Persona page.

  7. Approval comments/questions/answers between end user and approvers must be available on a particular request.

  8. Only after approvals a Catalog must kick in (I hope this is already available)

As a long-term user of Morpheus, I think the suggestions are fantastic! I haven’t had time to think about specific improvements myself for a long time.
HPE needs to decide where to focus next, but the “catalog experience” could definitely be improved. Forms for Inputs also has some optimization possibilities to make this whole area better for catalog developers and consumers.
