Management of SCVMM checkpoints.
Checkpoints currently require a Morpheus backup job to be configured and manually assigned to the VM if not selected during provisioning.
There is no provision for a custom checkpoint name or description, Within SCVMM.
Within SCVMM Morpheus created checkpoints appear to be named after the UID with a prefix e.g., ‘1195ee56-a4d0-4148-85ff-03c82e6f99d8.1669146242643’.
Checkpoints created outside of Morpheus are not discovered.
Ideally Checkpoint management should be treated like a VMware snapshot, at the very least discovery of checkpoints created outside of Morpheus would be desirable.
