Change standard server provisioning UI field from Label to Description
Description:
In the past there were no big difference between Label and Description fields. Both were text fields. With Version 6.0 labels usage was change and it comes more as a tagging/categorizing feature.
side note: generic search do not search in labels by default (unless you explicitly tell search to do that).
Keeping in mind recent change in the way labels should be used, I think it should be something that user might define after provision of a server, but not as a first thing (if at all). I would like that standard server provisioning UI would be changed and Label field would be replaced with Description field input.
Example/Use case(s):
When customer provision new server they are intend more to add generic server usage description than start immediately categorize them with labels (which in my view should not even be free text field)
