Description:
There are certain activities performed on instances or servers that are not logged under the “History” tab. For example, when an instance is renamed, this action is not recorded in the history. Similarly, the installation of the Morpheus Agent (whether successful or failed) is not tracked. This lack of activity logging makes it difficult to audit changes and actions performed on instances. My suggestion is to enhance the History tab to capture and display these actions as well.
Example/Use case(s):
- Instance Rename: A user renames an instance from “Server001” to “Server002.” Currently, this action is not reflected in the history log, making it hard to trace when and by whom the change was made.
- Morpheus Agent Installation: A user attempts to install the Morpheus Agent on a server. Whether the installation is successful or fails, this should be logged in the history for auditing purposes, but it is not currently tracked.
In both cases, having these activities recorded would greatly improve transparency and traceability of instance management within Morpheus.
