I am using Community Verstion to evaluate the product, when I try adding 3x HPE-VM cluster, I got the error “exceeds the maximum HPE VM sockets allowed.”. currectly our Morpheus has zero work load used.
can I know where is the limitation applied?

I do not believe the Morpheus Community Edition includes licensing for a VME license since it went GA / 8.0.0. To evaluate VME, you must grab the installer from HPE Software Center and utilize the ISO provided. This will include a 60-day trial license for VME clusters.
Chris
What you want to say is VME is total out of Morpheus? What I want to test is Morpheus as a control layer, can manage both HPE VME, K8s, vCenter and other Hypervisors, can I know how add VME node or cluster to Morpheus? Please note I have download and install VME package in those nodes.
Morpheus community edition does not allow for VME clusters. This is a per socket charge and the Community license sets that socket count to 0. If you are looking at testing VME functionality, it would be best to reach out to your HPE representatives and they can steer you in the right direction.
Hmm, what’s license I should got? VME license or Morpheus for VME? I can touch out with our presentative to have them
Seems like the VME 60days trial license is NOT working on Morpheus but we can get proper ones if required
Hi @cbunge , I have HPE VME Manager with full “Core license” and Morpheus Data with “Enterprise license” but still got the same error: *Error! Provisioning request exceeds the maximum HPE VM sockets allowed. Please check your license and upgrade if necessary."
Can you please tell me what is the problem?
